2. How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication), a cloud infrastructure operated by Google LLC. We rely on Firebase’s built-in encryption at rest and in transit to protect your information. While we implement industry-standard safeguards, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access.

3. Third-Party AI Services

SmaxAI transmits your prompts to third-party AI providers to generate responses. These providers currently include:

• xAI (Grok API)
• DeepSeek (DeepSeek API)
• Meta (Llama API)
• Google (Gemma API)
• OpenAI (ChatGPT API)
• Groq (LPU Inference API)
• Black Forest Labs (Flux API)

By using SmaxAI, you acknowledge and consent to your input data being processed by these providers in accordance with their respective privacy policies. SmaxAI does not control and is not responsible for how third-party AI providers handle, store, or process your data.

4. Cookies & Session Management

We use browser cookies and local storage mechanisms to maintain your authentication session, remember your preferences (e.g., default AI model, UI theme), and track usage credits. Disabling cookies may impair functionality. We do not use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking purposes.

5. Internet Safety & Online Risks

The internet is an inherently insecure medium. While we employ encryption and access controls, you acknowledge that transmitting data over the internet carries inherent risks, including but not limited to interception, corruption, and unauthorized access by third parties. SmaxAI shall not be liable for any damages arising from such risks beyond our reasonable control.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

SmaxAI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, or appropriateness of any AI-generated content. Outputs may contain errors, hallucinations, biased perspectives, or factually incorrect information. You are solely responsible for independently verifying any information and for how you choose to use, publish, distribute, or rely upon any output generated through our service. SmaxAI expressly disclaims any and all liability for damages or harm arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent and close your account at any time
• Object to or restrict certain types of processing

Upon account deletion, your personal data and chat history will be permanently removed from our active systems, subject to any legal retention obligations. 8. Children’s Privacy
